GrubCrawl.com - Grub the Mission "Dish"trict
Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (PDT)
San Francisco, CA
Hi Grub Crawlers!
Welcome to Grub Crawl! This "Grub Crawler" ticket gets you exclusive entrance and delicious grub at three restaurants in the San Francisco Mission District!. Its going to be so much fun, especially since you are going to be celebrating with friends!
Each restaurant will be showcasing food that best represents them, so all the ordering is already taken care of. We like introducing new food to our Grub Crawlers, so the actual menu is kept secret until the event.
The restaurants are close together, so we will be walking ("crawling") from restaurant to restaurant.
The Grub Crawl officially starts at 6pm SHARP! Meet up 15 minutes early for drinks, to sign in and to icebreak with the other Grub Crawlers. Below are the featured restaurants and the Grub Crawl time schedule:
Start Grub Crawl at 6:00 pm sharp
Oyster eaters, ham fans and liquor lovers – Hog & Rocks is San Francisco’s first ham and oyster bar. Located in the heart of the Mission District, Hog & Rocks is a casual, come-as-you-are bar and restaurant serving no-nonsense cocktails and modern bar food until 1AM every night.
7:00 pm to 8:00pm
From the North Beach Ristorante Gondola to a decidedly un-Italian block of Mission Street, Specchio offers a feast on everything from wild boar pappardelle and marinara pizza to pork chops with gorgonzola, all while sipping pints of Moretti or glasses of Chianti—and watching Fellini movies playing on the wall above the kitchen.
8:00pm to 9:00pm
Esperpento specializes in authentic Spanish tapas, paellas, and sangria in an eclectic and lively atmosphere. We have enjoyed serving the Mission District and the San Francisco Bay Area since 1982. Esperpento is a family owned business. Esperpento's sister restaurant, Picaro, which is also a Spanish tapas restaurant, is located near 16th St & Valencia St. Picaro first started as a popular café and in 1994 it became the first tapas restaurant in San Francisco.
This ticket includes restaurant reservations, food, taxes and tip for the featured restaurants listed above.
Drinks are not included in this ticket price and will have to be paid on your own. Drink tax and tip are also not included. Restaurants prefer cash payment for individual drink checks, but cards are accepted.
If you have any special requests or concerns, such as making us aware of food allergies, please let us know at least 24 hours prior to the start of the Grub Crawl. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sorry, but we can only take cancellations 48 hours in advance.
When & Where
A "Grub Crawl" is essentially a walking restaurant tour. We take you to a series of restaurants and have you taste the best dishes each restaurant has to offer, all in one night. Grub Crawlers get to indulge themselves in the food, the restaurants, the culture, and the San Francisco neighborhoods.
